Here are the different activities that will take place during Champagnat Global Week 2024 and in which you can participate:

9:00 h. and 16:00 h. (Rome time) (Duration: 60 minutes)

– Aimed at: Those interested in meeting and interacting through the Champagnat Global network and the international Marist school community in general.

– It is about: To learn about experiences and opportunities of how to interact in the Marist Global Network of Schools.

– Programming:

  • Opening of Champagnat Global Week 2024 and greetings (representatives of the General Administration and Champagnat Global).
  • Presentation of case studies and successful experiences in connection with Champagnat Global.
  • Opportunities to stay connected and interact with the network.
  • Launch of the 2nd edition of the MOOC course on Global Citizenship.
  • Closing of the event.

– Organised by: Champagnat Global Team.

– Language: Spanish – Portuguese – English – French

Registration: Free participation.


9:00 h. and 16:00 h. (Rome time) (Duration: 60-75 minutes)

– Aimed at: principals, coordinators, teachers, and those int-erested in promoting educational innovation in Marist schools.

– It is about: Two conferences: 1. Artificial Intelligence (MRE) and 2. Active Methodologies and the launch of two MOOC courses (Online-open to the whole Marist school community), developed by the network of Marist publishers.

– Organised by: Champagnat Global in collaboration with the Marist Publishing Network and Marist Region of Europe (MRE)

– Programming:

  • Welcome. Greetings
  • Introduction to the activity.
  • Session 9:00 (MRE): Introductory conference on Artificial Intelligence and (EDELVIVES): launch of the MOOC course Initiation – Artificial Intelligence.
  • Session 16:00: Lecture on Active Methodologies and (FTD): launch of the MOOC course on Active Methodologies: Problem Solving.
  • Discussion and questions.
  • Closing of the event.

– Aimed at: Champagnat Marists, provincial volunteer coordinators (CPVs), volunteers, ex-volunteers, communities and institutions receiving volunteers, Marist NGOs working with volunteers, teachers and the public interested in volunteering.

– The aim is to: Invite Champagnat Marists to participate in volunteer experiences at local, provincial and interprovincial levels, enhancing their reach and impact in strengthening the Global Family.

– Organizers: Champagnat Global in collaboration with the Solidarity Secretariat & CMI (Collaboration for Mission International) and the Marist Volunteer Network.

– Programming:

  • Welcome and introduction.
  • Testimonials and successful experiences of volunteering.
  • Round table: Volunteering as a way to generate a culture of solidarity and encounter, bringing the Marist charisma to life.
  • Closing and summary

– Registration: Free participation.


[1] Volunteering is a way of participating in Marist life and mission; it is a powerful tool for sharing knowledge, skills and a free and generous service, abandoning the culture of “egos” and promoting the culture of “echoes” and solidarity.

– Aimed at: Guidance counsellors, psychologists, principals, coordinators, teachers, and those interested in the prevention of digital risks for pupils.

– The aim is to: Know and reflect on the digital risks that our students are currently facing and seeing mechanisms for prevention and education in the safe and healthy use of technology.

– Organizers: Champagnat Global and RIMES (Marist International Network of Higher Education-UNIVERSITIES)

– Programming:

• Welcome greetings.
• Presentation of the network and introduction to the activity.
• Conference on the situation of the main digital risks that students are currently facing and solutions to help prevent and educate in the safe and healthy use of technology.
• Discussion and questions.
• Closing of the event.

– Language: Spanish – English – Portuguese – French

– Registration: Free participation.

– Aimed at: All those involved in youth work: school principals, pedagogical coordinators and pastoral collaborators, analysts, teachers and monitors of MYM or young people involved in youth evangelisation work.

– The aim is to: Share a diagnosis of youth scenarios from research carried out by different universities/institutes, presenting some analysis of young people.

– Organised by: Champagnat Global Team and Marist Youth Global Network Team

– Programming:

• Initial welcome and prayer.
• Introduction and presentation of the topic.
• Explanation of the content and in-depth explanation of the topic in question.
• Opening of Question Time and comments.
• Brief overview of the Marist Youth Ministry Network and next steps.
• Closing of Champagnat Global Week
