Itinerary of the Marist Global Network of Schools

To understand the present and the future of many projects, it is necessary to know their origins, the initial motivations and the processes followed over time. The Marist Global Network of Schools has only just come into being, but it already has a history of gestation that we believe must remain in the collective Marist memory over time. This is the reason why we take the opportunity to present the document: Itinerary of the Marist Global Network of Schools in its summarised version.

The paper highlights the following ideas:

  • The origin of the Marist Global Network of Schools responds to the need felt by the Marist Institute to “Journey together as a global family” (XXII General Chapter, 2017).
  • The building of the Network has been carried out in a co-creative and participatory way, based on the collective capacity of the international Marist school community.
  • The Marist Global Network of Schools is materialised in a space for meeting, connection, and exchange, called CHAMPAGNAT GLOBAL, which also has a digital platform: AGORÁ, that facilitates interaction between groups with common interests.
  • The Network has been set up in prototype mode, so that with the experience gained, the model designed can be validated, lessons learnt, and improved versions developed, until a stable model is found that responds correctly to the expectations and challenges of the Marist school communities of the world.

If you are interested in finding out more about how the Marist Global Network of Schools has come about and especially what possibilities it offers to the international Marist school community, the following report will be very useful to you.
